Sliding Scale FEE  –We do adjust fees the best we can to accommodate your financial situation.  We discuss our range of fees and navigate through your financial needs on the phone or during our first session together.  We do not publish fee schedules anywhere online.

We are very experienced Psychotherapists and Psychologists and  Counselors, licensed and trained in the State of California and our fees do reflect these decades of training and work.  We are not interns nor supervised students and don’t offer the lower fees which interns and supervised students often charge.

Insurance might help you.  You will need to contact your insurance company as all policies change constantly.  We are out-of-network providers so your insurance may or may not help you with the expenses.  If you only want to pay your copayment, you will have to contact those therapists and counselors that are on your insurance list or panel of providers.

Payment Methods:   Typically sessions are paid on the day of the session by check or cash or VENMO.

Cancellation Policy:  We have a 48 hour notification policy. So if you let us know you need to reschedule or cancel, please do so two days ahead (48 hours) since neither you nor we will want to have you pay for a session you can’t attend.  However, if you cancel in less than 48 hours, you will be charged for that session.  Insurance will not cover cancelled or no-show appointments.

Insurance Reimbursements & Forms:   We will provide you paper work you can submit to your insurance company. These days, insurance companies typically refuse to pay unless you submit multiple times and speak to their agent for assistance as well.  So if you are using insurance, prepare to spend time interfacing with your representative.  Your company or your insurance carrier may use different forms than the standard forms used nationally.  If so, please provide us with those forms.  Extra fees to cover office administration will be charged per session if you wish us to manage your insurance forms for you.
